I don’t know about you but I have mixed feelings about August. Why? I love summer breaks and having my kids home. Taking a break from our busy schedule where we can relax. At the same time, August always creep up on me reminding me about all the things I have to do to get them ready for back to school. I feel like summer just really got going and before I know it, it will be gone.

There are mixed feelings from my boys as well. The older one loves school and routine so he cannot wait to get back to school. The younger one would rather not. LOL
As I am getting my back to school list together, I have my usual items on it such as backpacks, folders, pencils, erasers, highlighters, new clothes, etc.

But did you know that the first few weeks of school are the very peak of lice season? I am reminded to add one more item: The Lice Shield – Shampoo & Conditioner in 1 and Leave-in Spray. Lice infestation is not something to be dealing with especially as we are getting back into a routine. This will definitely be a staple on my back to school shopping list providing me with peace of mind.

The Lice Shield – Shampoo & Conditioner in 1 and Leave-In Spray are powered by an exclusive blend of 5 natural essential oils (Citronella, Rosemary, Lemongrass, Cedar, and Geraniol) specially formulated to be gentle on your child’s hair and skin. It is a safe, effective, and easy-to-use option to repel lice not only for your child but for the whole family.

Lice Shield retails $5-10 and can be found in the haircare aisle at CVS Pharmacy, Kroger, Rite Aid, HEB, Ralphs, and Fred Meyers as well as in the first aid aisle at Dollar General.

I hope my boys are able to avoid lice season but if for some reason they do not, I will have this at arm’s length to fight it off.
Make sure you do not forget this one back to school supply! Lice Shield to the rescue!
Pin it for later!

Great post ! I remember my school days and as I had long hairs at that time too, the biggest concern was to stay away from lice. In schools, this is a problem that every child generally face. I used to take precautions to avoid it as told by my mom. And, At certain times on Sundays, I washed my hairs with lice protection shampoos even if I have no such problems just because of my fear. Lolz, glad today such products are available that are natural too. Thank you for sharing! 🙂
So smart!! I don’t have kids, but my mother runs a daycare and this is a must have.
I am a school librarian and constantly have my hair in an updo because of the potential for “livestock” getting in my hair. Even though I’m an adult, this is definitely a product I’m going to look for. Thanks for the post!
As a teacher, I thank you so much for using this! It’s one of our worst nightmares to find out that there are lice in the school.
