On our last stop in our recent 11 Day Road Trip in Canada, we stopped in Quebec City. If you have not been to Quebec City, you have GOT to put this on your list.
We were fortunate to stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott Quebec. Located in Downtown Quebec, within a few minutes walk to most attractions and in particular, nearby Old Quebec City, it was the perfect place to be.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the valet parking attendant with a huge smile. We were immediately reassured that we came to the right spot. He directed us to the lobby to check-in.

Let me just say how beautiful the entrance is. The reception desk is located on the third floor. You have the option to take the escalator or the elevator.

We opted for the escalator so we would be able to see how beautifully laid out the entrance was. As we made ourselves to the third floor, you can see the lobby directly in front of us.

Checking in was a breeze and we were ready to get settled in.

We came back down to the valet parking attendant to unload our things from the car and headed back to our room. Our luggage arrived quickly behind us. Talk about quick service!!
The Accommodations at Delta Hotels by Marriott Quebec
Our room was located on the seventh floor and we had an awesome view of the city! As you walk into the room, you can see how spacious it was. Traveling with two little guys, I love the option of the double queen room. It gives me a huge peace of mind knowing that they are in eyeshot at all times.

First off, let’s talk about the bed. WOW! We stayed in 4 Marriott hotels out of the 6 during this road trip and Marriott does not disappoint when it comes to a good nights sleep. With this being our last stop on our road trip, we were pleased to find the comfort of the bed. There were also ample pillows to go around. I don’t know about you but being away from my own bed, itβs always hit or miss. Luckily this was a hit!

Our room comes with two chairs perfectly situated by the huge picturesque window overlooking the outdoor heated pool as well as the city. The perfect spot to sit and unwind with your coffee.

The work desk is huge and comes with an ergonomic chair and the charging outlets right on the desk for convenience. With the two boys, we had so many electronics that needed to be charged. All you need at your fingertip!

They call this the SmartDesk!
There is complimentary high-speed internet. While on vacation, we love to disconnect. However, we do love the fact that we can reconnect at a moments notice and not worry whether or not there is the internet. This is a huge factor we look at when deciding where to stay.
I love that there are a mini-fridge and a coffee maker in the room. Having a place to store our drinks to keep them cold was convenient. We didn’t utilize the coffee maker as we were able to grab a cup of coffee in the club lounge on the top floor anytime we wanted.
The bathroom was pretty spacious with ample counter space. I love that I have room to spread out in the bathroom with all our things.

The hubby loved the fact that the shower had the right amount of pressure coming out. Not too light and not too harsh. Perfect for a nice long shower.
The Amenities at Delta Hotels by Marriott Quebec
Club Lounge
Once we got settled in our room, we decided to check out the Club Lounge located on the top floor of the hotel. It is an enhanced option to get if you are going to visit here. You do need your card key access to get to the floor as well as into the Club Lounge. But once you are in, soak in what the lounge has to offer along with the view. Because we arrived later in the evening, we were able to enjoy how beautiful the city was at night. All the city lights!

The Club Lounge offers complimentary breakfast, appetizers, mid-day snack, and late-night dessert. I love that there is a coffee machine where I can make my own coffee or opt for black coffee. I did both, I am a black coffee lover all the way but I did enjoy a cup or two of the specialty coffee π

We were able to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast on both days and the options did not disappoint us. The boys are pretty picky when it comes to food and there was something for everyone. The snacks and drinks were pretty well stocked and we even brought back some to our room for later.

There is plenty of space and options to sit here. I love that there are chairs with tables, high back chairs and counters along the wall of windows to be able to enjoy the view, high round tables for those that opt to stand, to the comfortable couch and loveseat.

Also available in the lounge are the daily newspapers and brochures and pamphlets of local attractions. A great resource for visitors/travelers.

Le Bistro
Their very own on-site dining option, we were not disappointed. We arrived later in the evening so, by the time we got settled into our room, it was past our dinner time.
We were greeted by our hostess and seated right away. Our table located right by the full wall of the window gave us the beautiful city lights.

The food was delicious. While the boys are picky eaters, the older one is a little bit more adventurous and opted for the salmon dish. He is learning to try out new things especially on this trip. The younger one tends to stick to what he knows and ordered chicken tenders and fries.

The service here from both the hostess and waiter was superb! They welcomed us and provided us with pointers as to where to go during our stay.
Outdoor Heated Pool
Don’t tell the kids there is a pool here. That would be the only thing they would want to do like this picture here first thing in the morning. However, I did promise them they can have a swim after we come back from sightseeing.

I love that the pool is heated. During our stay, the temperature was in the low 70s with a slight wind so being in a heated pool was perfect. Even if the weather was perfect swimming weather, we love that the pool is heated. The boys and I are able to enjoy the swim and not be cold in the water.

One thing to note with this pool is that there is no zero-depth entry. The most shallow part of the pool is 3 feet deep so something to think about for families with smaller children. Our boys are pretty good swimmers so it was not a problem for us. There is a lifeguard there at all times the pool was open.

Towels are provided at the pool. There are no worries about having to bring your own towel.

Fitness Room
Oh check out this fitness room! I love that there are so many options here. There are free weights, stability balls, treadmills, etc. You name it, they got it! I especially love that some of the equipment were strategically placed where you can get your workout in and enjoy the view of the city at the same time! How awesome is that!

Towels are provided for use as you enter the fitness room.

I love that I was able to get my workout in during our vacation.
My Overall Impression
We had an incredible stay here! Not only was the hotel a great fit for our family needs, but the service was more than superb! You know you had a positive experience when your kids say that don’t want to leave.
Thank you to the Delta Hotels by Marriott Quebec family for providing us an amazing and extraordinary experience!
We would definitely stay here at Delta Hotels by Marriott Quebec again! The city has so much to offer we wish we had more time.

Great review! I’ll consider it whenever I have the option to stay there.
Loved the review. That breakfast looks amazing. We love heated pools as well, nothing beats a good swim when itβs chilly out.
This hotel is gorgeous. I have not traveled to Quebec yet but it is on the list. Thank you for sharing!
This looks great! I want to start staying at more Marriott Hotels. I have been looking at their Bonvoy Card. Thanks!
Yes, we love Marriott and are Marriott Bonvoy members.
I recently just came back from Quebec City, and was curious about the Delta Hotel. Thanks for the review.
Awesome! Hope you enjoyed Quebec City as much as we did. It is so beautiful.
What a wonderful hotel! Sounds like it was absolutely perfect. That breakfast looks impressive for being complimentary too!
It is! The breakfast is part of the VIP Club Lounge.
Looks like a lovely hotel
Wow this is a beautiful motel and the food looked amazing
Beautiful hotel! Looks like a great place to stay.
I love it when the hotel’s complimentary breakfast has great choices. This one looks really good.
It is really good! The breakfast comes with the VIP Club Lounge access.
Reviews of hotels are so important in my opinion because someone sharing an actual experience is different than just looking at stars I think. Thanks for sharing!
This looks like the perfect hotel for our family. We always look for hotels with the best complimentary hot breakfast we can find, and this certainly looks like it fits the bill. And that workout room looks awesome! The office area of the room, the WiFi, the pool…all of it looks like just the accommodations our family would choose if we were visiting Quebec.
I would love to go to Quebec and Marriott is my favorite place to stay!
Great review – heated pool plus. I do have to admit I am one of those that loves getting newspapers on vacation – I find out so much more locally while reading them.
Thank you! I love reading the local paper too if it is English π
Looks like a lovely place to stay! Will keep in mind when traveling in that area!
Excellent review. I love the access to the club. We recently that at Disney and my son thought he was in heaven. I love being able to grab a cup of coffee each morning as I got ready for the day. Quebec City is beautiful. We were there years ago but would love to return.
My boys did too! WOW, all this food and drinks for us π Quebec City is so beautiful!
Great information! The breakfast even looks good enough my husband would approve (and he’s hard to make happy when it comes to breakfast foods!)
I always love when there are more than enough pillows to go around! Looks like a great place to visit!
Love Quebec and Montreal areas. Thanks for a great review!
I have got to plan a trip to Quebec City…tragically our Canadian airlines make it as expensive to travel within Canada than to fly internationally, so then I leave instead of exploring. Thanks for the inspiration, and Marriott hotels are fantastic!
What a great review of a gorgeous hotel! The heated pool and nice workout room are such a plus. I have never been to Quebec City or anywhere in Canada for that matter. And I live in northern Minnesota, so I don’t have much of an excuse!
Great to know about! I love the two queen bed option when we travel with our kids too. That was a fantastic charging station on the desk! It is so important to have a plethora of outlets with all the electronic devices we seem to travel with these days. I will bookmark this hotel for our visit. Thanks!
Great review! I enjoy reading reviews since it helps me decide if I want that hotel or destination or not. Thanks.
Lina, it looks like a fabulous time!
It was Christina!;-)
I ALWAYS look for complimentary breakfast when I travel with my crew. It makes all the difference. Oh, and a pool, too. π
What a great review! Looks like a perfect place to stay. I love the fact that it’s close to all the amenities and they have high speed internet access. This is important for us.
Looks like excellent accommodations! And itβs a beautiful place as well.
What a great trip! Looks like everyone had a really good time. All the food and drinks look so yummy!! Quebec is on our list to travel.
Lovely review. Nice pics. Makes me want to stay there.
Thanks for sharing your adventure! Looks like a wonderful hotel. Now we know where to book next time we are in Quebec.
Next time I visit Quebec, I gonna book a room at this hotel – it is perfect! Especially the breakfast, which I am EXTREMELY picky about!
Looks like a beautiful hotel! I haven’t been to Quebec, but it’s on the bucket list, so I will be keeping this place on my list of potential accommodations.
