We all look forward to those summer months when we can relax from the daily grind. School, homework, music lessons, sports practices and games, evening programs, etc… The list can go on and on. Our days start out early and end late into the evening. I don’t recall it being this hectic when I was a kid. It can be so stressful for all involved.
Guess what! I was nominated not only once but three times for the Sunshine Blogger Award all within a 2 day period. Friday morning I was checking my emails and I received an email from In The Olive Groves notifying me I have been nominated. A couple of hours later I was tagged in a Facebook post by Meals and Miles Marker of the nomination. The very next day, I was tagged in another Facebook post notifying me of my third nomination by Our USA Adventures.
During our trip to France last spring, my carry-on bag busted at the wheels and zippers making it a bit difficult. Fortunately for us, we were visiting family there so we were able to “borrow” one of their suitcases to help us get through our trip. I believe their suitcase is still sitting in my basement. I may have to send it with my mother-in-law when she goes for a visit in a couple of weeks. While I have been meaning to purchase a new one, there are just so many options out there that I just couldn’t decide.
With 10,000+ lakes in Minnesota, you would guess that there is no shortage of outdoor water fun. However, there are just so many months that we can enjoy the outdoor water fun. For those rainy days or cold winter months where the kids are asking for some swimming fun, what better way to take them than to an indoor waterpark. Minnesota does not disappoint with its indoor water fun option.
Summer is by far my favorite season here in Minnesota. The days are longer. The kids are out of school. The family appears to be more relaxed from the hustle and bustle of the school year. What better way to spend your summers than at an outdoor waterpark. Minnesota does not disappoint when it comes to swimming options.
I don’t know about you but I struggle every day with eating healthy, staying fit and losing weight.
I have been on so many fad diets out there. I have followed many fitness gurus online. Many that promised you x amount of weight loss in x amount of time. And you have no idea how many online workout plans or home workout DVDs I have purchased. I have tried Weight Watchers and Medifast. I even joined a local gym for some time. Nothing was sustainable. Or better yet, I was not sustaining any of them.
Thank you Minnesota Children’s Museum for sponsoring this post. Minnesota Children’s Museum provided us with tickets to explore and enjoy the museum. All opinions are my own.
Minnesota Children’s Museum is located in downtown Saint Paul and opens all year round. It has three floors of fun for kids to explore and run around. The boys are super excited to spend a day at the Minnesota Children’s Museum. We have been there many times before and they always enjoy their time there. Each time is always a different experience. Be prepared to be here for at least 2-3 hours. This would allow the kids ample time to explore all there is to offer and really be able to enjoy it.
