Are you planning a family road trip? Family road trips are some of our best family trips. There are so many benefits to going on them. To start with, I love the fact that we get to see so many beautiful places on the way to a destination that we would not be able to see if we were to get there in a different way. Road trips are also practical and cost-effective to travel with family.
On our last stop in our recent 11 Day Road Trip in Canada, we stopped in Quebec City. If you have not been to Quebec City, you have GOT to put this on your list.
We were fortunate to stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott Quebec. Located in Downtown Quebec, within a few minutes walk to most attractions and in particular, nearby Old Quebec City, it was the perfect place to be.
Going on a road trip with the boys are so much fun! Road trip typically consists of many stops and long stretches of driving that we weren’t sure how our boys would be able to handle it. I wasn’t sure how I was going to handle it as well. However, we all survived (barely) and had a blast! I would not have changed anything about it and would do it all over again.
We love road trips! They are fun and exciting. There is a lot of planning on making sure the road trips go as smoothly as can be. The number one thing to bring is a POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
Along with a positive attitude, here is a list of things that I would recommend to bring along on your next road trip.
Bonjour! We finally made it to France!! Vang grew up in France so naturally we had to visit. He still has siblings living there. I was excited to not only visit France but be able to meet the rest of his siblings. We wanted to wait until the boys were big enough to be able to travel to such a big and busy place. As well as being able to handle the long flight.
As we were leaving Grand Teton National Park, we felt that our trip thus far has been quite relaxing, fun and a huge learning experience for all of us. Now we start our 8-hour drive to our next stop Denver, CO. Vang lived in Denver for quite some times 20 years ago so he was looking forward to seeing the city and how much has changed. As well as catching up with some friends and family.

Yellowstone National Park
Planning our itinerary for Yellowstone National Park was as detailed as the road trip itself. There is so much to see in so little time. Our hotel was located just outside the West Entrance but to get the most of our trip, we decided to enter the park through the Northeast entrance and make our way to the West Entrance. We really wanted to stay inside the park but all lodging was booked solid. You can opt to camp inside the park but I wanted a comfortable bed and it gets pretty cold in the night.
