There are many marketing strategies I have learned throughout this past year on how to increase traffic to my site. On top of that, he has built a following of over a million entrepreneurs, sold hundreds of thousands of copies of his books, and popularized the concept of sales funnels.

Traffic Secrets is the final book to his Secrets trilogy. This book was two years in the making and has been highly anticipated by his followers knowing that he will deliver like he always does. Why is Traffic Important?

Traffic (the people that visits your website) is the fuel for every successful business. The more people you can get in front of, the bigger impact you will have. This in turn will usually create more money for you. Think of web traffic is to internet marketing as location is to real estate. It’s the only thing that really matters. If you cannot generate targeted visitors to your site, you will not make any sales.

In other words, if you are not attracting visitors, your website is bound to get lost in the massiveness of the internet and perhaps, never found. Every site needs traffic, and even if your site is made very well if you are not attracting visitors, you won’t be generating sales or achieving your end goal with your business.

I did not know what to expect when I first received Traffic Secrets. I knew that I wanted to drive traffic to my site and this book was going to show me. One thing I know about this book as I started the challenge is that this book is not one that you can skim through.

Along with the book I received is a workbook to the 30-day challenge. Each day of the challenge comes with assigned readings and/or homework from the workbook. This really does make you sit down and really do the work. Learning and implementing what you learn.

Find out where they are at. What are some of the top websites your dream customers are already visiting? What forums or message boards are they participating in? What podcasts are they listening to? What blogs are they reading? These are some areas to start looking for where your dream customers are at and this book and will take you more in-depth.

Hook, Story, and Offer is discussed in multiple chapters in Russell’s book DotCom Secrets and Expert Secrets and in detail where he explains how to make irresistible offers and the framework he uses for story selling. In this book, he talks about it and how it relates to traffic and ads.

I am on Day 15 of this 30-day challenge, smacked dab in the middle of the challenge. I am learning so much about Hook, Story and Offer at the moment. As mentioned above, each day brings so much learning and value. I cannot wait to see what I can do once I complete this book and challenge.

  4. I’ve learned so much from this book and Russell Brunson! I think the hardest thing was to find my Dream 100, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.
